Our History: PTR is the OEM for both Hamilton Standard and Leybold AG Electron Beam Welding Equipment

Leybold-Heraeus, later Leybold AG:
In December 1975, Hamilton Standard sold the Electron Beam Welding business to Leybold-Heraeus. Offices were opened in Enfield, CT in February 1976 and production began there in May 1976.
